Ready to go public with your faith?

Baptism is an outward expression and public declaration of an inward change. It is a way to show the world you are a follower of jesus. If you are interested in taking that step or just want to learn more, we'd love to walk with you.

What is Baptism?Baptism is a public way to show what God has already done in your life. It’s an outward expression of the inward decision to follow Jesus - like going public with your faith. It doesn’t mean you’ve figured everything out, it just means you're saying yes to Him.
-
Do I need to be baptized to be saved?Nope. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus, not by anything we do (Ephesians 2:8-9). Baptism doesn't save you, but it's a powerful next step of obedience and a public declaration of your faith. Jesus Himself was baptized (Matthew 3:13-17), and He invites us to follow His example.
-
What if I was baptized as a baby?We totally respect that tradition. What we practice is believer’s baptism, which happens after someone personally decides to follow Jesus. If you were baptized as a baby, this can be a meaningful moment to declare that you have made this decision for yourself.
-
Am I "ready" to be baptized? If you’ve decided to follow Jesus and trust Him with your life (even if you still have questions), then yes, you’re ready. You don’t have to be perfect or have it all together. Baptism is about obedience, not perfection!
-
What can I expect on baptism day?We will walk you through everything before the Sunday you are baptized. You’ll get a chance to share your story (as much or as little as you want), and Pastor Trent will baptize you. We’ll celebrate big, because this is a big deal!
-
Can my child or student be baptized?Yes! We love seeing kids and students take steps toward Jesus. If your child has made a personal decision to follow Him and understands what baptism means, we celebrate that with them. In Acts 8:12, it says people were baptized after they believed the message of Jesus. That’s why we practice believer’s baptism, it's a personal step, not something anyone else can choose for them. Our team will meet with them (and parents) to make sure they’re ready and it’s truly their decision!
