NEWS SERIES STARTS THIS WEEK: WISHLIST

What are you hoping for this Christmas?

We often come into the holiday season with expectations—joyful moments, perfect gifts, or perhaps even a sense of peace amidst the busyness. But what happens when reality doesn’t meet those expectations? This Sunday, we’ll explore the Christmas story from a fresh perspective: how a world longing for a king received something far greater—a Savior. Join us as we uncover the gift we truly need and the life-changing hope it brings.

SERVE WITH US: SUPPORT FOSTER FAMILIES // LILIES & SPARROWS

Thank you for your support in stuffing the stockings for Lilies and Sparrows!

Mya was led to do something for our community's children and landed on helping Lilies and Sparrows. In just 24 hours, 30 stockings were taken. The stockings will be given to foster children attending an upcoming event with Lilies and Sparrows.

Another way to support Lilies & Sparrows is by donating new cold-weather items that they will distribute.

We are accepting donations of the following new items: mittens, gloves, hats, scarves, socks, and underwear. Bring these items to the church and either put on the Mitten Tree or the box next to it, in the foyer. We will be collecting these items from Dec. 1-24.

CULTIVATE GRATITUDE: PREPARE YOUR HEART FOR CHRISTMAS

As we finish our Harvest series and reflect on Thanksgiving, we’re reminded of how good God has been to us. Over the past weeks, we’ve talked about how God provides for us and calls us to respond with gratitude and generosity. Yesterday, as we celebrated Thanksgiving, we had a chance to thank God for all His blessings.

But gratitude isn’t just for one day. It’s a way of life that helps us see God at work in our lives. Now, as we step into the Christmas season, we carry that thankfulness into a time of anticipation and hope.

This Christmas, we’ll focus on the greatest gift of all: Jesus. The same God who meets our daily needs gave His Son to bring us hope, peace, and joy.

Lord, prepare our hearts to receive Your gift of Jesus with gratitude and to share His love with others this season.

So how can we prepare our hearts for Christmas? How can we show the same love and generosity God has shown to us? This season isn’t just about receiving—it’s about giving, loving, and serving others in Jesus’ name.

Let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus by living out His joy and hope, not just during Advent, but all year long.

Last Week's Message

LAST WEEK'S MESSAGE:  THE HARVEST IS READY

Last week, we explored the powerful theme of The Harvest and its significance in both our spiritual lives and God’s kingdom. The harvest represents God’s provision for us, but it also reminds us of our responsibility to share His blessings with others. Jesus taught that the fields are ready for harvest—there are people all around us who are ready to hear the Good News (Matthew 9:37-38).

  • WE REAP WHAT WE SOW: The seeds we plant—whether good or bad—will grow into the harvest we receive (Galatians 6:7-9).

  • PATIENCE IS ESSENTIAL: Just like a farmer waits for crops to grow, we must trust God’s timing in our lives.

  • SHARING OUR FAITH MATTERS: Jesus called us to pray for more workers in His harvest field and to share His love with compassion and boldness.

As we reflect on these truths, let’s ask God to help us

notice opportunities to share His love and stay faithful

in doing good. Remember, the harvest is plentiful,

and He is with us every step of the way!
