Frequently Asked Questions:

  • What are your worship services like?

At Grace Church of the Nazarene you can expect to be greeted with warm, friendly people upon entering the building.  Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible upon visiting us on a Sunday morning.  You will experience the presence of God through lively music, a relevant message, and a wonderful group of people.  You will find yourselves challenged each week to live your faith outside of the walls of the church.

We offer 2 different styles of worship services.

  • Traditional (Sundays 8:45 am)  Our traditional worship service is led by piano and organ featuring mostly hymns with some choruses as well as some Southern Gospel favorites.
  • Contemporary (Sundays 9:30 and 11:00 am)  Our contemporary worship services are led by guitars mostly featuring worship choruses.

In all of our services our goal is to worship our God and enjoy his presence.  We enjoy mixing in humor, as well as media components to help convey the message.  The same relevant message is delivered in both services.

  • What about my kids?

We have something for all ages at Grace.  You will find one of our two inviting nurseries as you walk in the door, as well as lively ministry for pre-kindergarten children.  Graceplace (k-5th grade) is the ministry that keeps kids coming back week after week excited to learn about God.  All of these ministries are offered during both worship services on Sunday morning.  If you have any questions, our greeters will assist you as you come in.

“My child was suppose to spend the night with a friend Saturday night, but decided not to because she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to come to Graceplace on Sunday morning.”

  • What do I wear?

We want you to wear what you are comfortable wearing.  We believe that God is focused on your heart not your attire.  You will find people in dresses and ties, as well as jeans and shirts.  Our focus is on experiencing God in our worship services so we invite you to come as you are and dress comfortably.

  • How do I become a member?

We ask that anyone interested in learning about membership attend our Introduction to Grace Church of the Nazarene class.  This class is offered approximately 4 times a year.  It is offered through a variety of options including our Grace University on Sunday evenings as well as a couple one day classes on Saturdays.  Call the church office to get signed up for the next class.
